MULTICRAB - TECHNICAL INFORMATION - 2023 80 ASSEMBLY AND DISMANTLING WITH SAD GUARDRAILS The SAD safety guardrail is used for both assembly and normal use. It is fitted from the level below by one operator to provide collective protection for the level above. The scaffolding thus equipped is classed "SAD for category 2" according to the INRS criteria. (SAD = Safe Assembly and Dismantling). •Place and lay the adjustable baseplates on the distribution wedges. •Nail the baseplates to the distribution wedges. •Interlock the basic standards. •Fit the ledgers. •Level. 1 2 3 4 5 •Lay the first assembly deck. •Construct the complete deck in the access grid. •Fit the 3.00 m uprights. •Fit the ledgers at 2.00 m that do not need the SAD safety guardrail. •From the lower level, fit the SAD safety guardrails in the stirrups. •Fit the missing ledgers at 2.00 m, by inserting them into the bottom supports of the SAD guardrail.
