173 ACCESS STAIRCASES- TECHNICAL INFORMATION - 2023 STAIRCASES •Fit the guardrail upright and 0.70 m SAD guardrail with locking pin using a 0.70 m ledger on the landing. •Free the assembly diagonal brace to fit the two 0.70 m x 0.30 m Panaciers. •Remove the 1.17 m assembly diagonal brace. •Fit the 0.70 m and 1.50 m toe boards. •Go back down to remove the assembly deck. •Inspect the staircase and put the inspection report in the pocket of the “no entry” sign. 10 11 Staircase attached to building. ACCESS IS POSSIBLE ON THREE SIDES Front access Left hand side access Right hand side access STARTING WITH REINFORCED LEDGER FOR A HEIGHT > 24 METRES •Place the adjustable baseplates on blocks. •Fit the basic standards and the normal and reinforced ledgers. •Level and fit the 3.00 m uprights. •Fit four 1,50 x 0.30 m Panaciers. •Assemble three 1.72 m diagonal braces on the outside, and a 2.45 m diagonal brace on the outside. •Fit the anchor points at 2 m above the ground then every 4 m. •Continue the assembly according to step 3. 1’ 2’ •Ensure that the reinforced ledger and the sliding foot are centred. •Fit the first anchors at 2.00 m then every 4.00 m as assembly progresses. •Calculation notes are required for frames higher than 24 m. •Ensure that there is a landing every 24 steps. •Dismantling: dismantle in the reverse order of assembly. •See the assembly recommendations.
