The SAD guardrails are now locked in place. 1 2 3 •Fit the “No entry” sign. •Assemble the flight support ledger 1.00 m up. •Fit the 1.72 m diagonal brace on the outside. •Lay the Crabétai baseplate on a 20 mm thick wedge (200 x 200 mm). •Fit the first four flights alternating two step flights and three step flights. •Fit the first anchor points 2.00 m up. •Fit the 1.72 m diagonal brace on the outside. •Fit the assembly deck: one 1.50 m x 0.30 m Panacier and one 1.50 m x 0.20 m Panacier. •Fit the assembly trapdoor on the outside. •Fit the 2.00 m uprights. •Fit two 2.45 m diagonal braces on the outside. •Fit the SAD guardrails and ledgers. 4 5 6 •Fit four 1.72 m diagonal braces on the outside. •Fit the flight support ledger 1.00 m above the assembly deck. •Fit the flights by alternating two step flights and three step flights. •Fit the anchor points (repeat every 4 m). •Repeat steps 5 to 8 as required, according to the height of the staircase. •Bolt a stair sliding foot to a 1 m upright. •Attach a 1.17 m assembly diagonal brace to the upper stirrup on the 1.00 m upright. •Place the sliding foot on the exit ledger and turn. •Lock the diagonal brace to fix the upright. 7 8 9
