The personal protective equipment must be attached on the Multicrab ( see page 22) at least 1.00 m above the deck on which the operator is working, either around a ledger or through a stirrup. The stirrups at deck level must on no account be used for attaching. One of the two hooks of the fall prevention system must constantly be attached (except when accessing the upper floor). Dismantling: dismantle in the reverse order of assembly. Depending on the load factor, the standards on public staircases are either Multicrab standards or Crabétai standards. (1) For public staircases 1.50 m wide, the central support ledger of the Panaciers must be a reinforced 1.50 m ledger. For public staircases 2.00 m wide, all the support ledgers of the Panacier must be reinforced 2.00 m ledgers. See the assembling and dismantling recommendations on page 10. Repeat steps 6 to 10 as required, according to the staircase height Erecting kit: For 1.00 m widths, use 16 Panacier measuring 1.00 m x 0.30 m and 3 normal 1.00 m ledgers for assembling and dismantling. For 1.50 m widths, use 16 Panacier measuring 1.50 m x 0.30 m and 3 normal 1.50 m ledgers for assembling and dismantling. For 2.00 m widths, use 24 Panacier measuring 2.00 m x 0.30 m and 3 normal 2.00 m ledgers for assembling and dismantling. 01.11.17 T e c h n i c a l i n f o r m a t i o n
