6 8 H é l i c r a b s p i r a l s t a i r c a s e • Place the adjustable baseplates on blocks. • Fit the basic standards and the normal and reinforced ledgers. • Level and fit the 3.00 m standards. • Fit the first anchor ties 2.00 m up. • Fit the 1.72 m diagonal brace on the outside . • Fit the erection deck: one 1.50 m x 0.30 m Panacier and one 1.50 m x 0.20 m Panacier. • Fit the erection trapdoor on the outside. • Fit the 2.00 m standards. • Fit the two 2.45 m diagonal braces on the outside . • Fit the MDS guardrail and ledgers. • Fit the bottom full floor: four 0.30 m Panacier and one 0.20 m Panacier in the middle. • Fit three 1.72 m diagonal brace on the outside , and a 2.45 m diagonal brace on the outside . • Fit the MDS guardrails in the outside stirrups. • Fit the ledgers into the brackets at the bottom of the MDS guard rails. The MDS guardrails are now locked in place. • Fit four 1.72 m diagonal braces on the outside . • Fit the stair support ledger 1.00 m above the erection deck. • Fit the flights of steps alternating two step flights and three step flights. • Fit the anchor ties (every 4 m). • Repeat steps 5 to 8 as required. • Bolt a stair coupling to a 1.00 m standard. • Attach a 1.17 m erection diagonal brace to the upper stirrup on the 1.00 m standard. • Place the coupling on the exit ledger and turn. • Lock the erection diagonal brace to fix the standard. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 • Attach the “No entry” sign. • Fit the stair support ledger 1.00 m up. • Fit the 1.72 m diagonal brace on the outside. • Lay the Crabétai baseplate on a 20 mm thick shim (200 x 200 mm). • Fit the first four flights of steps alternating two step flights and three step flights.
