Mobile scaffolding 4 4 • Interlock the basic standards on the wheel slides. • Set up the tower by clamping the ledgers onto the basic standards. • Before continuing assembly, check the condition of the wheels and the serviceability of the brakes. They must block the wheels on movement but also on rotation (see page 14). When the castors wheel are blocked, the mobile structure is completely immobilized. • Lay 2 x 0.30 m Panaciers in the access cell then the temporary Panaciers. Be sure to leave a gap for fitting a future 1.00 m post guardrail support. • Fit and bolt the 4 x 3.00 m standards. • Fit the MDS guardrail in the stirrups at + 3.00 m. • Fit the ledgers in the basic standards of the guardrails then lock them in at both ends (the guardrails are now locked in place). Careful of the location of the reinforced ledgers 1 2 3 • Fit the “no entry” sign". • Fit 1.00 m posts in the space provided in step 2. • Fit the guardrail ledgers and the gate. • Interlock the inverted 0.50 m standards in the 1.00 m posts then fit the 3 rd rails opposite the access. • Fit the outer diagonals. • Lay the Panaciers and the Panatrap forming the upper deck. • Access the level in complete safety. • Fit the toeboards. 4 5 6 Erection 01.11.17 T e c h n i c a l i n f o r m a t i o n
