Technical information Crab range
Crossing beams Crab trellliswork steel beams are used to make more space on the ground to clear an obstacle, maintain a passage wider than one span or to clear space in front of a shop. The spans on either side must be reinforced. They are equipped with a base standard made with tube Ø 48.3 x 3.2 mm nominal thickness ( σ e = 0.32 kN/mm 2 ). Erecting kinematics with personal protective equipment ( fall prevention system) 0.50 m 3 0 C r o s s i n g s • Remove the erecting decks by moving backwards and lay the final decks. • The assembly re-uses the collective protection. Fit the toeboards. • Fit appropriate standards to make all the profiles level. • Fit the ledgers at 2.00 m. • Continue assembling following the kinematics match- ing the structure. • Fit the anchor ties as assembly progresses. • Fit bents up to 2.00 m above the level of the beams. • Lift the beams fitted with 1.00 m standard using lifting gear or a rope. • Keying of the beams. • Fit guardrails with top and middle rail. • Attach the tether hooks, now use PPE. • Remove the edge guardrails. • Lay the erecting decks on the lower rib on one grid section. • Fit the 2 ledgers in the middle of the beam. • Lay the final decks on the other grid section. 1 2 3 4 5 Part number Length in m Weight (kg) Distributed uniform Concentrated point distributed load in kN load in kN 250940-4 4.00 51.00 28 22 250950-3 5.00 57.73 24 22 250960-2 6.00 68.13 21.6 18.93 0.25 m Dismantling: dismantle the tower in the reverse order of assembly.
