2 2 Dismantling: dismantle the tower in the reverse order of assembly. Collective protection must come first (reiterated by the decree dated 1st September 2004). When due to certain circumstances our collective protection erecting guardrails cannot be fully or partially fitted, personal worker protection is ensured by means of a fall prevention system attached to the scaffolding. PPE attachment points on the Multicrab One metre above the deck: - either through a stirrup on the standard ( figure 1), - or around a ledger ( figure 3). These attachment points have been tested and approved by CEBTP in conditions stated by technical specifications issued by the Syndicat Français de l’Échafaudage (French scaffolding federation) and approved by specifiers ( INRS, CRAMIF, OPPBTP). Only these attachment points should be used. • Continue assembling in safety. • Fitting the toeboards. • Fit the standards, ledgers at 2.00 m and the diagonals brace. • Lay the deck from the secured level. • Construct the next floor repeating the previous operations. • Open the tradoor and before accessing the upper deck, attach yourself to the stirrup located 1.00 m above the deck . The scaffolding must be properly anchored and wind- braced. • Fit the ledger at 1.00 m. • The self-locking wedge key allows you to attach the far end of the ledger to the opposite standard. • Fix the hook of the second tether around the horizontal ledger located 1.00 m above the deck to facilitate movements. 1 2 3 4 5 6 YES NO See the assembling and dismantling recommendations on page 10.
