C r a b t o u r : s t a b i l i t y - h a n d l i n g Stability The tower must be stabilised against wind loads, in particular during assembly and dismantling. In the absence of special calculations, it is advisable to limit the height of the tower to 3.5 times the smaller dimension of the base. For taller structures, the towers should be connected together or anchored to the structure to ensure stability in all directions. Moving On flat and firm ground, the towers are easy to move by hand using shifting frames. Do not shift a tower taller than 3 frames. This operation is easy and safe as the frames forming the tower are clamped automatically in position. 134 Example: tower with 5 levels Access Decks made with 2 Panaciers and 1 Panatrap are placed every 2.00 m for scaffolding type access. The stabilizers comprise scaffolding standards, ledgers and diagonals. Isolated tower fitted with stabilizers Isolated tower Towers in blocks 01.11.17 T e c h n i c a l i n f o r m a t i o n
