Crab t our : Assemb l i ng and d i sman t l i ng a 6 s t andards t ower • Place and lay adjustable baseplates on distribution shims if necessary. • Interlock the bases and ledger. • Fit the horizontal diagonal and level it. 1 • From the inside of the tower, fit the first frame in the shaft of the diagonal and turn to lock it. • Fit four 1.50 m x 0.30 m Panacier. • Assemble the second level of triangles in the opposite direction. • Lay 4 x 0.30 m Panacier in a temporary position while moving backwards in the tower. 2 4 3 • Mandatory wind bracing of the central side section with one ledger and one diagonal brace. • Fit 2 more 0.30 m Panacier in a temporary position. • Access the upper level then lay the Panatrap in a temporary position. • Fit horizontal diagonal braces crosswise in relation to the first one if necessary. • Assemble the 3rd level as in step 2. 7 Erection of towers with 6 standards Frame Standard Ledger Diagonal The central side section must be wind-braced with diagonals and ledgers on all levels. 5 Requirements > Ensure that the load is evenly distributed on the ground. > Ensure that the base is levelled. > Fit the first level frames from inside the tower. > Ensure that the tower is stable. > Centre the load in the forks. 6 132 01.11.17 T e c h n i c a l i n f o r m a t i o n
