Crab t our : Assemb l i ng and d i sman t l i ng a 1 . 50 x 1 . 50 m t ower • Place and lay adjustable baseplates on distribution shims if necessary. • Interlock the bases and ledger. • Level. • From the inside of the tower, fit the first frame diagonally and swivel to lock it. • Fit four 0.30 m x 0.30 m Panacier. • Assemble the second level of triangles in the opposite direction. 1 2 3 • Lay 2 x 0.30 m Panacier. • Move up to the next level and fit the access deck. • Assemble the third level as in step 2. 4 5 6 • Move the 2 x 0.30 m Panacier. • Move the access deck from the lower level and place the ladder. • Refit the upper level and continue assembling repeating steps 3 to 8 as many times as necessary. • Fit the finish at the top and adjust the adjustable heads. • Dismantle the 2 temporary Panacier. • Inspect the tower and draft the acceptance report. 9 8 7 Dismantling: dismantle the tower in the reverse order of assembly. Requirements > Ensure that the load is evenly distributed on the ground. > Ensure that the base is levelled. > Fit the first level frames from inside the tower. > Ensure that the tower is stable. > Centre the load in the forks.
