185 ACCESS STAIRCASES- TECHNICAL INFORMATION - 2023 STAIRCASES •Fit the steps from the top downwards. Lock the inner hooks with self-tightening clips on the bottom legs. •Raise the ledger 0.50 m above the bottom landing to match the headroom of 2.50 m. •Fit the 3 assembly Panaciers. •Install the first 4 diagonal braces acting as lateral guardrails. •From the staircase, fix the tether hook into a stirrup 1.00 m above the landing. •To ensure operator safety, fit a 2.50 m ledger 1.00 m from the central side. •Fit the 2.00 m uprights. •Fit 5 x 1.00 m uprights, 5 x 2.00 m uprights, ledgers on the top level and 3 diagonal braces. •Fit and lock SAD guardrails on the last landing using ledgers. •Fit Panaciers on the exit landing. 10 11 12 •Assemble the last flight of the staircase comprising stringers, steps and diagonal braces. •Fit the 2 x 1.00 m uprights, the last 2 diagonal braces acting as handrails, the ledger at 2.00 m and the toe boards. •Fit the 2 x 0.27 m end sections. •Lift the ledger 0.50 m above the bottom landing to match the 2.50 m headroom and maintain the upright. •Remove the assembly decks. •Inspect the staircase and put the inspection report in the pocket on the “no entry” sign. 13 14 15 Repeat steps 7 to 11 as often as necessary, depending on the height of the staircase. Follow the assembly and dismantling recommendations presented at the beginning of the technical information. Dismantle in the reverse order of assembly. P.P.E. The personal protective equipment must be attached on the MULTICRAB at least 1.00 m above the deck on which the operator is working, either around a ledger or through a stirrup. The stirrups at deck level must on no account be used for attaching. One of the two hooks of the fall prevention system must constantly be attached (except when accessing the upper floor). P.P.E. - 6 PANACIER 2.00 m x 0.30 m, - 2 PANACIER 2.50 m x 0.30 m, every 2.00 m of stairs. ASSEMBLY KIT
