169 ACCESS STAIRCASES- TECHNICAL INFORMATION - 2023 STAIRCASES POSSIBLE CONFIGURATIONS Access to various slab heights HÉLICRAB staircases can be easily adapted to the heights to be accessed. The picture shows that by using 3/4 of a turn after the first landing, you can access a slab 3.00 m higher. Mobile staircase HÉLICRAB staircases can be used for mobile staircases by replacing the adjustable baseplates by 700 kg wheels. In a building shaft HÉLICRAB staircases can be installed inside a building shaft or in a lift cage 1.70 m x 1.70 m minimum. Access between falsework towers HÉLICRAB staircases can be assembled between 1.50 m × 1.50 m falsework towers to access both the assembly deck and the formwork. As they are compatible with the CRAB system, they can be connected to the towers using ledgers. This HÉLICRAB staircase has been erected between 2.00 m towers and connected using 0.15 m ledgers on one side and 0.35 m ledgers on the other. Attached to façade scaffolding HÉLICRAB staircases have a very small footprint and can be used where space is limited (narrow street, inner courtyard, etc.). They can be attached to façade scaffolding for access at 2 m intervals.
