101 MULTICRAB - TECHNICAL INFORMATION - 2023 MULTICRAB ASSEMBLY ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1 •Access the upper level following the assembly procedure with PPE. •Attach yourself in the stirrup located 1.00 m above the deck. •Fit the protective side ledgers and toe boards. •Assemble the pivots on the guardrail ledgers at 1.00 m. •Respect the minimum distance of 1.00 m with respect to the outer standard. •Also ensure that the platform has a minimum depth of 2.00 m. 2 3 •For more comfort, it is recommended to have an access tower of minimum 1.00 m. RECOMMENDATION •Interlock the lock barrier sides on the pivots. •Fit lock barrier sides in open position. •Fit the top ledger. P.P.E. attachment points: refer to the P.P.E chapter. •Tip the lock barrier in closed position. •Fit the guardrail ledger at 0.50 m and the toe board. •Lock the toe boards using 2 simple couplers. •The operator is now in collective protection. •Fit the guardrail ledgers and the toe board on the inner side. •Lock the toe board with 2 simple couplers. •Use the lock barrier in complete safety during loading and unloading of equipment on the platform.
